The early morning of June 15, 2017 loaded with 400 tons of RQH girder bridge couple with goldhofer 16+16 line modular trailer carry of 1000kV transformer , so far, this project first transformer road transport mission completed successfully.           This transformer site segment transportation tasks: ship unloading loading port wharf in Tianjin, the 1000kV New River county highway transportation to Xingtai city Shijiazhuang substation, the entire 430 km or so. Although only 430 kilometers, but it is difficult 430 kilometers. Because the transformer quality is heavy, headroom, coupled with a number of road construction, part of the road transport is in the night before the rain, the entire transportation can be described as difficult ahead of the road. RQH modular trailer with one and half combination got awarded the trust to move a total of nine (9) transformers from the Port of Arica,Chile to CODELCO mining site.

RQH modular trailer with one and half combination got awarded the trust to move a total of nine (9) transformers from the Port of Arica,Chile to CODELCO mining site.

Six transformers of 250 ton single weight and three transformers of 275 ton each had to be moved cross the mountain.

The transport had to take place during the rain season which made certain parts of the available roads very complicated to pass.

Especially passing the valley, with a total combination weight of over 430 ton with angles going up and down by 15 %, required absolute qualified skills of the local team and our equipment equipment.

Delivering all of these factors through inhouse experts and equipment was the reason ,and got awarded this difficult project.
The team is qualified to execute this job and other similar tasks properly and safely.

In a separate operation the wind blade trailer also handled the discharge and inland transport of 90 pcs pipes with measurement 40 m x 2.94m x 3m weight 13 mt each and a cargo of reactor , heat exhangers and storage tanks of such trailers.

Bolivia client extremely busy in recent weeks to move several heavy and oversized concret girder under narrow road and over by pass including some special precautions like moving overhead wires.

The scope of the first featured transport project included the movement of 60 oversized pieces bridge beams, the larges one with dimensions of 35,000 x 3,80 x 3,30 m and weight of 70 tons.

Their second project was about the movement of a series of heavy transformers with the heaviest unit weighting 156 tons and dimensions of 8,50x 3,00x 4,00 meters. The performance of these transportations was done by bolivia client with their own special RQH modular trailers.

Ruiqianhe Goldhofer thp/sl was commissioned to carry a 32-meter-long rotary cooler in Malaysia.

Ruiqianhe Goldhofer thp/sl was commissioned to carry a 32-meter-long rotary cooler in Malaysia.

The cooler has a weight of 190 tons and 4.50 m in diameter. Due to the size and weight, it was not possible to bring this cargo directly by road to factory and it was necessary to find a suitable area where the transhipment from truck to barge had to be performed by using roll on and roll off.

After a successful examination of the track, the vehicle was then defined, a 22-axle trailer type Goldhofer thp/sl with turn table, and transport permits including requested approval of required structural analyzes were organized.

Due to the extreme hot weather in May, when the transport would have to take place, the river was flood, and the transport had to be postponed for 3 weeks until the river come to normal.

The transport with the total dimension of 52 x 4.50 x 5.50 m and 320 tons started in the end of May. A Mercedes 8 x 6 was used as pull truck and another supported the transport as a push truck. Due to the size of this cargo and the route course the transport was also accompanied with two supporting escort cars for a smooth transport.

Next morning the cooler was moved from truck into the barge by roll on and roll off

In Malaysia, the barge arrived side by side the waiting ocean vessel for the oncarriage to factory being its final destination.

250t transformer on Ruiqianhe modular trailer units transported in Argentina

250 ton transformer was loaded onto a hydraulic platform trailer combination with 2 vessel cranes. This involved a Ruiqianhe vehicle combination consisting of a 18 axle line modular trailer.
The transport was carefully manoeuvered by remote control between parked cars on both sides of the street up to the entrance of the substation. This particularly narrow entrance to the facility could easily be negotiated due to the excellent manoeuverability of the Ruiqianhe and the 55°steering angle. Once at the transformer box, the load was pulled into its final position with the help of rope winches using rails which were mounted under the transformer wheels.

For the delivery of the Ruiqianhe modular trailer, no additional transportation costs are incurred. The modular traileris simply coupled to each module axles and can be both on rough terrain as well as on public roads and motorways with speeds here reaching up to 80km/h at max.

Ruiqianhe SPMT (self propelled modulartransporter) safely executed a challenging job of shifting four huge ship block in Keppel, in the china.

Keppel Heavy Industries, a singapore based company specializing in ship building,expecial on off shore engineer, had tied-up with Ruqianhe SPMT for all land transportation job in their china manufacture base. The scope involves haulage and positioning of three evaporators in nantong base, in the east coast of china.

The ship block started from the facility to jetty 5 Kilometers. The size of each ship block was 38 meter in Length, 15 meter in Width and 9 meter in height and its total weight is 860 tons including all steel beams.

SPMT (Self-Propelled Modular Transporter) had to move-in slowly at turtle speed to carefully maintain the of the cargo.

Another task came unexpectedly in the form of on-going road construction work on the stipulated route; due to which a new road had to be laid down, all the way upto the main entrance of the site. Heavy equipment were pressed into service to develop access path for SPMT. Despite initial hiccups, the first ship block reached its destination within 24 hours.

PN MASHRU recently sent one of their skilled drivers and a modern truck carrying oversized part for a TBM machine, with width of 3,20 meters, from Mombasa to Nairobi in Kenya. Including the way back to Mombasa the journey totalled over 1,200 kilometres and it took more than two weeks’ time. PN MASHRU has handled a significant projects in Kenya by our modular trailer within the last couple of years.

The transport went very well, as planned, the equipment and the driver endured the rough road,although the temperature up to 55 degrees Celcius at its worst.
